EV Charger Installation

Charge your electric car safely at home every night. We handle the survey, cabling, fitting and testing of your wall-mounted charger (wallbox).

What we do

Survey & load check

We check your supply, consumer unit and parking spot and choose the right charger power.

Dedicated circuit & protection

A correctly sized circuit with breaker and EV-suitable RCD protection.

Single or three phase

Charger choice and installation to match your supply.

Shared car parks

Coordination with the site management, safe cable routes and metering.

Businesses & hotels

One or more charge points for customers and guests, with load planning.

Fitting & testing

Charger installation, app/card setup and a test charge with your car.

Is my electricity supply enough for home charging?

A charger draws high power for hours. We first look at your contracted supply capacity together with other large loads — air conditioning, oven, water heater, pool pump. If needed we recommend chargers that can be set to lower power or that reduce charging automatically based on the home’s total consumption (load management).

If your supply capacity needs to be increased, we explain what is needed for the application to the distribution company.

Who supplies the charger?

We can install a charger you have bought yourself, or recommend a model that suits your car and budget. Either way, the circuit, protection devices and installation are done by us.

How we work

  1. We see your car, parking spot and consumer unit on site.

  2. We recommend a charger power that suits your supply and usage.

  3. A dedicated, protected circuit is run from the board to the parking spot.

  4. The charger is fitted and tested with your car before handover.

EV Charger Installation: FAQ

Why use a charger instead of a normal socket?

Normal sockets are not designed for high current over long periods; they can overheat and become a fire risk, and charging is very slow. A wallbox on its own protected circuit is faster and much safer.

What power should my charger be?

7.4 kW single phase is enough for most homes; with a three-phase supply an 11 kW charger can be installed. The right choice depends on your supply, the AC charging power your car accepts and your daily driving.

How long does installation take?

If the parking spot is close to the consumer unit, installation is usually done in a day. Long cable runs, digging or a board upgrade are confirmed during the survey.

Can you install in a shared car park?

Yes. We work with the site management on a safe cable route through the shared area and on metering so the energy is billed to you.
